We are a family business and have been serving the Montessori community for over 35 years. Our doors opened in 1971 with a small selection of high quality materials. We now carry over 400 items in our Toronto warehouse. We service customers all over Canada and the United States.

OUR MATERIALS

Since our inception, the production techniques used to manufacture the Montessori materials we sell have been continuously improved upon. Our Montessori products comply with the requirements of Dr. Maria Montessori's teaching philosophy and are made with precision and durability in mind.

All of our materials are made of wood unless otherwise stated. Our bead material is individual nylon bead. The bead bars and chains are made with strong copper wire and the bead squares and bead cubes are reinforced for stability and strength. We also offer items not available through other suppliers like our painted landforms (a big hit at the AMS!), Solar System puzzles and Weather Charts. Cabdev stands behind all of its products and guarantees them to be free of defects in materials and workmanship. We also stand behind our customer. If you are not happy with any of your purchases (for whatever reason) we will gladly accept them back or replace them to your satisfaction (see returns and refunds).

SHIPMENTS

We carry a large inventory of Montessori Materials in our Toronto warehouse allowing us to promptly fill customer orders. Our inventory management system keeps tabs on backorders and low stock items ensuring that all of our customers are notified immediately of any delays in shipping. All back-ordered items will be automatically processed unless otherwise agreed.

All shipments are insured for their full value. PRIOR TO ACCEPTING DELIVERY, PLEASE CHECK THE PARCELS FOR ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY HAVE OCCURRED IN TRANSIT. If there is some visible damage to the shipping carton, please note the details on the delivery slip prior to accepting your order, keep all damaged packaging, and contact us within 7 business days of receipt.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

We accept the following payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, personal cheque, company cheque, or money order. We also accept P.O.s from established schools.

Leasing: Leasing is available to our Canadian customers. Ask us how leasing may be an advantage to your school.

RETURNS & REFUNDS

Cabdev Montessori must authorize all returns. Returns must be made within 30 days of receipt of the item(s). AUTHORIZED RETURNS may be subject to a restocking charge. Refunds on returned Montessori materials will be issued in the form of a credit note.
